Samantha walked me into the poses. I wish I did take the time before my shoot to stand in my mirror and home and see how my body moves, but luckily we have a badass and patient photographer who will lead and all you have to do is mirror what she does! She will come and adjust you if needed, literally she could see me getting all scrunched in my forehead, pause photographing and put her hand on my head and taught me how to breathe through my poses to relax my face.

After my shoot was done we sat down to select the photos to be used in my album. I know I’m not alone in being my worst critic. I’ll never forget that feeling of looking back at my photos and going WOW, that girl is gorgeous. Usually we get caught up looking at photos of other people wishing to look like them, but I was looking at myself. Being damn happy that I was the woman I wanted to look like.

Samantha has a way of hyping you up and also tenderly telling you truths that you need to hear in order to challenge you to really let go of those inner doubts. When selecting photos I’ll never forget how she told me, “I want the next photo you pick to be one where you’re looking in the camera.” She noticed I was shying away from those and wanted me to see what she was seeing.

I left the studio on a high. The boudoir experience was one that I’m so grateful to have had, and I think of on days when my doubt creeps in. Knowing I have these photos in my back pocket gives me a little extra pep in my step!

I highly highly recommend you do this at least once in your life!! I’m always here for anyone who has questions or is concerned about trying out boudoir.

Okay.. I gotta say Samantha is AMAZING!!! I had my session the end of November and I am sooo excited to see my album come in to see the rest of these photographs!! I walked into samantha’s studio so nervous because. I have never done a boudoir session, none the less ever dressed up or felt feminine. The whole experience was amazing from the hair and makeup to the outfits and poses. I’ve never been comfortable in my skin, but Samantha helped me realize you don’t need to have the “perfect body” to be beautiful. She made me feel comfortable, beautiful, empowered at the end of this session I felt like a bad bi**h and I was hanging on cloud nine. If you’re looking for a session please please go to Samantha! “I have now had two photoshoots with Samantha and each one of them stands out to me in their own special way. The first one was at her old studio in Wakefield – I initially contacted her for a photo shoot when I saw that she had the pink bondage set – it was right up my alley! My favorite part of when I initially spoke with Samantha was that the photo shoot was a collaboration. We worked off each other when thinking of ideas which made it a no brainer for me when booking. This photoshoot is an investment, but it makes it an easier one when you realize that your ideas are heard and respected as opposed to someone just placing you in front of a background and telling you how to pose….I am typically comfortable being nude but it’s still a very vulnerable position to be in and they both were extremely professional and made me feel at ease for the entire shoot.
